Commenting on someone's recent LinkedIn post is a great way to show interest and start a conversation. When you comment on a post, the poster will be notified and will see your name and your profile picture, alongside your comment.

Here's how to incorporate strategic commenting into your sequence:

Step 1: Select the "Comment last user LinkedIn post" from the action cards in the sequence builder. This will add it to your sequence.

Step 2: Write your comment! You can use Prosp to add insightful comments that start conversations using AI. Click on the "Comment last user LinkedIn post" card in your sequence, this will open the text editor. You can use a written message, an AI prompt or a mixture of both.

🧠 Try this prompt to write a relevant and engaging comment:

"Write a short, casual sentence (10-12 words) commenting on {{Last post}}. Keep it vague to spark interest without offending, and avoid sounding dull. If relevant, draw inspiration from other comments on the post. The only information you should draw from is the information contained within the post. {{Last post}} Don't try to sell anything, simply add value to the discussion by commenting something any other human would say."
