Understanding Sender Selection and Frequency in Campaigns

Sender Selection:

In Prosp campaigns, the sender for each lead is selected randomly from the list of available senders. This selection is based on each sender’s frequency limit - a sender whose limit has been reached will not be assigned to new leads. Once a sender is assigned to a lead and the lead is processed through the flow, the sender remains fixed for that lead and does not change in subsequent steps.

Frequency Settings:

Frequency settings control how often actions are performed in a campaign and are connected to specific campaign nodes:

Profile Visits: The “profile visits” frequency is tied both to the profile visit action and to the conditional node that checks if a lead is an Open Profile.

Message Sending: The “Message” frequency is linked to sending messages to Open Profiles. This frequency operates independently of whether the user has a Sales Navigator account; adjusting the InMail frequency is not required for Open Profile messages.

⚠️ Best Practices for Safe Automation

  1. Start Slow & Warm Up

    • Begin with lower numbers

    • Gradually increase activity over weeks

    • Never jump straight to maximum limits

  2. Use Proper Automation Tools

    • Use a tool like Prosp with built-in rate limiting

    • Set conservative daily/weekly limits

    • Monitor account health regularly

  3. Split Testing Across Profiles

    • Use multiple accounts for larger campaigns

    • Keep activity levels natural on each account

    • Distribute actions across different times

  4. Optimize Your Profile

    • Improve your Social Selling Index (SSI)

    • Enable Creator Mode for better visibility

    • Join relevant groups for expanded reach

🦾 Pro Tips

  • Maximum total connections: 30,000

  • Best times to send requests: Tuesday-Thursday during business hours

  • Always personalize connection requests for better acceptance rates

Remember: LinkedIn's primary goal is maintaining authentic professional connections. While automation can help scale your outreach, it should enhance, not replace, genuine relationship building.
