This guide assumes you already have a CSV file prepared with custom columns. Follow the steps below to upload it into Prosp.
Step 1: Make sure you have these prerequisites

Make sure the first row of your CSV file contains headers that clearly define each column.
Include a column named linkedin_url for LinkedIn profile links.
If you're using custom variables, double-check that each one is correctly labeled and matches your setup.
Step 2: Select “Import from CSV File” in your Prosp dashboard.
Step 3: Upload your CSV file
Step 4: Mapping the Columns
Our AI will automatically match the relevant columns in your CSV file to the appropriate contact variables. To ensure accurate mapping, make sure all columns are clearly and correctly labeled. You can also include custom columns - our AI will recognize and map them accordingly during the import process.
Step 5: Confirm your import
Assign the imported data to a contact list and click “Confirm.” Selecting a campaign at this stage is optional.
