What is a session cookie?
A LinkedIn session cookie works just like any other cookie a website stores in your browser. It allows you to stay logged in to your LinkedIn account, so you don’t have to enter your username and password each time you access the platform.
Step-by-Step guide
Step 1: Find Your LinkedIn Session Cookie Using Browser Inspect Tool
Log in to LinkedIn or Sales Navigator.
Right-click anywhere on the screen and select Inspect.
In the developer console, go to the Application tab.
Scroll down the left sidebar and click Cookies.
Select the LinkedIn cookie list.
Look for the cookie named
li_atand copy its value.
Step 2: Add the Session Cookie to Prosp
Open Prosp and navigate to Settings > Accounts > Add LinkedIn Account, then choose Connect Manually.
Paste your copied session cookie into the provided field and select your country.
Your LinkedIn account is now connected, and Prosp is authorised to perform actions on your behalf.
