Sales Navigator isn't required to run campaigns in Prosp β a regular LinkedIn account works fine. But if you do have a seat and Prosp can't detect it, here's how to fix it in a few clicks.
π¨ When You'll See This
You'll usually run into one of these two messages:
"Sales Navigator seat required to connect to sales inbox."
A campaign error saying the LinkedIn profile "doesn't have premium" β even though it does.
Both come down to the same thing: Prosp hasn't picked up the Sales Navigator seat yet.
π οΈ The Fix: Troubleshoot Sales Navigator
This resolves it in most cases.
Go to Settings > Accounts in your Prosp workspace.
Find the LinkedIn account throwing the error and click the 3 dots next to it.
Click Troubleshoot Sales Navigator.
Wait for it to finish, then run the campaign again.
π If It Doesn't Work: Reconnect via Credentials
If the error keeps coming back after troubleshooting, do a clean reconnection.
Go to Settings > Accounts.
Click the 3 dots next to the LinkedIn account and choose Disconnect.
Reconnect using the Credentials method.
Once reconnected, the Sales Navigator seat should be detected automatically. If it isn't, run Troubleshoot Sales Navigator one more time from the 3-dot menu.
