πŸš€ Why Your Campaign Isn't Performing Actions

P
Written by Prosp Support

If your campaign shows as Running but no messages are going out, one of four things is almost always responsible: a disconnected account, a parked account, a LinkedIn weekly limit, or leads that don't qualify for the action you're sending. Here's how to tell which it is.

πŸ”Œ Reason 1: Your Account Got Disconnected

If your LinkedIn account disconnects mid-campaign (cookie expired, captcha, restriction), the campaign automatically stops to keep you safe.

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts and check the status of your LinkedIn account.

  2. If it shows red/disconnected, reconnect it (Credentials, Extension, or Cookie method).

  3. Once connected, go back to your campaign and toggle it back on.

After reconnection β€” Your campaign picks up where it left off β€” you don't need to re-import leads.

πŸ…ΏοΈ Reason 2: Your Account Is Parked

If your account has been inactive for 7+ days with no campaigns running, Prosp parks it automatically. Parked accounts can't send anything until activated.

  1. Go to Settings > Accounts.

  2. Find the parked profile and click Activate (or click the 3 dots β†’ Activate).

  3. Refresh the page and resume your campaigns.

πŸ“‰ Reason 3: LinkedIn Weekly Connection Request Limit

If you've hit LinkedIn's weekly connection request cap, all connection-request actions in your campaign pause until LinkedIn resets the count β€” usually within 2-3 days.

  • This is enforced by LinkedIn, not Prosp β€” there's nothing to override on our end.

  • Other parts of your campaign (messages to existing connections, profile visits, etc.) keep running.

  • Stick to the 20 connection requests / day or 100 / week recommendation to avoid hitting it again.

πŸ“š Reason 4: Leads Stuck in "In Campaign" Status

If a lot of leads sit in In Campaign status with no actions taken, here's what's actually happening β€” and it's not always a bug.

"Contacted" means the lead has gone all the way through the sequence. "In Campaign" means the lead is in the sequence and continues the perform activities within the campaign.

πŸ›Ÿ Still Not Sure Why It's Not Sending?

Send support the campaign URL β€” it looks like https://prosp.ai/campaigns?workspace=…&id=… β€” and we'll pull the report from our side and tell you exactly what's stuck and why.
